Milton Windler is a retired NASA Flight Director. He is best known for his work as one of the four flight directors of Apollo 13 Mission Operations Team, all of whom were awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Richard M. Nixon for their work in guiding the crippled spacecraft safely back to Earth. Windler also served as flight director for Apollo 8, Apollo 10, Apollo 11, Apollo 14, Apollo 15, and all three Skylab missions. Milton Windler has hand signed this 8x10 Photo with Maroon Flight NASA Apollo-Skylab inscription from the July 15, 1975, the Liftoff of the Saturn IB launch vehicle (SA-210), for the Apollo/Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) mission, from Launch Complex 39B, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) was the first international docking of the U.S. Apollo spacecraft and the U.S.S.R. Soyuz spacecraft in space.
