Director Stuart Heislers first of two films starring Humphrey Bogart (the second being Chain Lightning-1950), Tokyo Joe focuses on Bogarts title character, Joseph Barrett, as he returns to Japan following World War II to see if there is anything left of his pre-war bar and gambling joint (Tokyo Joe's) after all the bombing. Bogart is the greatest American Screen Legend according to The American Film Institute. Offered is a one-sheet movie poster from the film noirs release in 1949. This original poster measures 27x41 and its vivid colors simply jump off its white background. It is in near-mint to mint condition with no major rips, tears or defects and has been professionally linen backed to preserve its condition and integrity for the future.
